Abstract
Pelvic fracture fixation poses significant challenges due to limited exposure of the fracture site and the interference of reduction instruments with optimal placement of fixation plates. The ideal anatomical position for plate fixation is often occupied by reduction clamps, complicating the surgical process-particularly when using the Farabeuf clamp. While the Farabeuf clamp is a common tool in pelvic fracture surgery, this technical note introduces a modified technique for its application. This approach allows for simultaneous fracture reduction and plate placement, effectively restructuring the fixation process into a single-step procedure.
